Raise your
Alberta Flag.
Save-on
Foods in Airdrie, Alberta
has done just that.
While
in Airdrie in October
(to find snacks and the elusive goat cheddar cheese),
we saw the blue
Alberta flag of freedom in their meat department.
It cried photo-op, so my trusty wife said,
“pose
in front of the flag and do your thing.”
Just
like Albertans would and should, the folks at the
Airdrie Save-on Foods took
matters into their own hands and flew Alberta’s colours inside their place of
business.
Congratulations for flaunting
your “Alberta-ness”.
We need more of you and
we hope to see more “Alberta-ness” as we tour Alberta.
Flags
are meant to be flown or displayed.
If
you are an Albertan and you are currently living in Alberta, then raise your
Alberta Flag. We have and you can too!
No
flag pole, no problem.
I
see Canadian flags, cannabis flags, Italian Flags, Union Jacks, and other
assorted flags and rags in windows. Heck,
I see blankets with howling wolves hung up in some windows.
But
I rarely see an Alberta Flag.
Remember,
so far this year (2018), over 30,000 people have made Alberta home - even
during some of the toughest economic times in a generation.
Also
remember that you still live here and have an Alberta Driver’s License and an
Alberta Healthcare Card – completely funded by tax dollars derived solely from hardworking
Albertans.
So fly your
Alberta flag
knowing that we live in one of the best places in the world.
Full Stop.
