Did you know 
that Albertan Premier Harry Strom was 
the first premier of Alberta to be born in Alberta.  
In fact his predecessor - Ernest Manning 
(who was the longest serving Alberta Premier) 
was originally from Saskatchewan.
Strom may have opened the  Alberta Resources Railway, 
but it was initiated by Manning.
